Our group is open to everyone who loves parrots, but we do filter what gets submitted to ensure that members get to appreciate the birds through images that are high in quality. We therefor ask that you READ our rules before submitting. Members who ignore the rules, then object to getting their submissions declined will be ignored unless an admin feels a need to respond!  Quality over Quantity  This group accepts artwork which is creative, finished, and decently presented (lighting, color, clarity, composition). Poor-quality photos, sketches, works that look unfinished, or belong in a family-album will be declined and without providing the reason. You are welcome to ask for feedback on why a submission has been rejected. We also do not accept images with embedded DevART watermarks, as they really distort the works. Only custom-made watermarks which are tastefully applied are accepted.  Submission Limit & LocationThe club accepts a maximum of 5 submissions per week. You must also make sure to submit to the appropriate folder according to the type of media.  MotifThis group is strictly for parrots or parrot-like birds. If a drawing contains more than one type of animal, at least one has to be from a parrot family. Parrot-inspired characters are allowed.  CopyrightsThe submission must also be your own, and with proper crediting to the original artist if it's a photo-manipulation or a paintover. If you submit a paintover, we -will- know and we will reject the submission if crediting is not included. |
